THE METHOD

FOUR CORE
SYSTEMS.

Win the way only you can.

Most coaching starts with the swing. The Dogfight Method starts with the scorecard — who you are as a player, what you should attack, what you should protect, and how you keep your head in the fight. Four systems, run in order, every time.

DOGFIGHT
BLUEPRINT

Find out how you actually win.

WHAT IT IS

A complete player identity and scoring profile. Not a swing report — a written account of where your strokes come from, where they leak away, and what kind of scorer you are when nobody is coaching you.

WHAT YOU DO

Complete a Performance Intake and player interview, followed by direct observation of your game — from practice and full-swing performance to a real or simulated round, where decisions, opportunities, and responses are evaluated shot by shot.

WHAT CHANGES

You stop guessing. The Blueprint cuts through the noise and identifies the two or three areas that can make the biggest difference to your scoring — so you know exactly where your practice hours need to go.

02

FLIGHT
PLAN

The roadmap, week by week.

WHAT IT IS

A personalized performance roadmap built around your competitive calendar, your available time, and the areas of your game that matter most. Not a generic drill sheet.

WHAT YOU DO

Turn practice into a performance system — clear priorities, measurable targets, purposeful practice blocks, and scoring outcomes that are reviewed and adjusted as you progress.

WHAT CHANGES

Practice starts transferring. The work becomes performance — showing up in your rounds and translating when the rounds start to count.

INSIDE THE ROPES

EVERY SHOT IS
A DECISION.

Systems three and four are where performance becomes scoring — recognizing the opportunities in front of you, making the right decision for the situation, and responding effectively when the round doesn’t go according to plan.

03

OFFENSE &
DEFENSE STRATEGIES

When to attack. When to protect.

WHAT IT IS

Two decision-making playbooks that teach you when to attack, when to protect, and how to make the right choice for the situation.OFFENSE is recognizing when the situation presents an opportunity to be aggressive, then using your strengths to capitalize on the opportunity in front of you.DEFENSE is recognizing when the situation calls for restraint, adjusting your target or strategy, and choosing the play that protects your score and gives you the best opportunity to save strokes.

WHAT YOU DO

Build a decision-making system around how you play best — knowing when to attack, when to protect, where to aim, which misses you can live with, and when your strengths give you the advantage. Then rehearse those decisions until you trust them and they become automatic.

WHAT CHANGES

You stop treating every shot the same. You learn when to use your strengths and attack the opportunity — and when to protect your score and remove unnecessary risk. You turn difficult situations into manageable ones, capitalize when the odds are in your favor, and stop giving away shots through poor decisions. The goal isn’t to play aggressively or conservatively. The goal is to make the right decision for the situation.

04

COMBAT
DE-BRIEF

Debrief the battle. Learn. Reset.

WHAT IT IS

A repeatable post-round debrief that identifies the offensive and defensive decisions that helped, hurt, or were missed — turning every round into information that prepares you for the next one.

WHAT YOU DO

Review every round against the Flight Plan — not just the final score. Identify the opportunities you capitalized on, the decisions that cost you, the defensive decisions that saved strokes, and the moments that changed the direction of the round. Then turn those lessons into clear adjustments for the next Flight Plan.

WHAT CHANGES

You stop judging the round and start learning from it.Good decisions become repeatable. Missed opportunities become identifiable. Defensive saves become skills you can rely on. Poor decisions become patterns you recognize earlier the next time they appear. You leave every round with a clearer understanding of what worked, what needs to change, and what to take into the next one.Every round becomes information. Every round makes the next one better.

I RUN THIS METHOD MYSELF

These four systems aren’t a theory. They’re the operating system built through sixteen years of professional golf — tested across tours, pressure, setbacks, and wins. I still run every one of them every time I compete.
